Ingredients For Making Strawberry Sweet Iced Tea
- 1 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 Handful fresh strawberries for garnishing
- 2 tea bags
- 3 cups distilled water
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 2 lemon slices for garnishing
How To Prepare Strawberry Sweet Iced Tea
- Put a sauce pan on medium heat, add the sliced strawberries, sugar and 1 cup of the distilled water and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the strawberries are soft and the juices have been extracted.
- Remove from heat and let cool down, blend the mixture and then pass it through a sieve. Stir in the 2 teaspoons of lemon juice.
- In another sauce pan, put the remaining 2 cups of water and bring to boil, remove from heat and add the tea bags and steep for 8 minutes, remove the tea bags and let the tea cool down.
- Mix together the strawberry mixture and the tea, stir well and then put into the for fridge to cool completely, then serve with ice cubes, garnish with strawberry slices and lemon slices.
