Carrot and Ginger Energizer Juice
Description
Carrots contain vegetable fibers in the form of pectin which helps regulate the transit of stool as well as soothing the intestinal walls. Carrots also contain carotenoids which are essential for proper functioning of the retina and for good night vision.
This recipe also contains strawberries which are rich in antioxidants and alkaline properties. Ginger is known to have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect in the body. Many people use it to aid digestion, fighting flu, common cold and relieving nausea.

Feed the carrot halves and ginger through an electric juicer to extract the juice.

Pour the carrot mix juice into a blender, add the chopped tomatoes , lemon juice and half of the parsley (reserving the rest for garnishing) and blend.

Serve in a glass of your choice and garnish with a parsley leaf.
