- Oreos – it isn’t oreo overnight oats without the oreos.
- Yogurt – adds a very creamy and rich texture
- Milk – use any type of milk that you like i.e dairy milk, oat milk, almond milk.
- Chia Seeds– this will amp up the fiber and healthy fats. White or black chia seeds can do.
- Maple Syrup
Kitchen equipment needed
- Rolling pin and bag – to crush up the oreo cookies.
- Mason jar – to conveniently store the healthy oreo overnight oats.
- Mixing bowl – you will need this to mix in all the ingredients.
How to make healthy oreo overnight oats
Put the oreo cookies in a bag and crash them up with a rolling pin.
Then in a bowl, put all the dry ingredients; crashed oats, rolled oats and the chia seeds. Add in the yogurt, milk and maple syrup. Mix well until everything is nice and coated.
Pour this mixture into a mason jar and store in the fridge overnight or for a minimum of 5 hours.
Remove the oreo oats mixture and add topping of your choice.
