To make this sesame milk, you can use any type of sesame seeds. The color and taste will vary depending on the type of sesame seed you use to make the milk. However, the steps to make this sesame milk still remains the same irregardless of the type of the sesame seeds you use.
The three kinds of sesame seeds include;
- Black sesame seeds
- Red sesame seeds
- Brown/gold sesame seeds
You can use any kind of seeds you want or that which is easily available to you.
How to make
To make this milk, follow the following steps;
- Soak your sesame seeds in warm water for a minimum of one hour.
- After soaking, drain the sesame seeds and rinse them to remove the soaking water.
- Then blend the soaked seeds with fresh water and vanilla extract for about 2 minutes. Make sure the seeds are fully blended.
- Strain the mixture using a nut milk bag, over a bowl.
- Store in a glass jar in the fridge and enjoy.
