- Butter/olive oil
- Onions
- Garlic
- Salt

- Potato masher – to crumble the block of tofu
- Airtight container – to safely store any leftovers

- Place a pan over medium heat and add butter and let it melt.
- Add the garlic and let it cook for 1 minute.
- Then add the block of tofu to the pan and crumble it with a fork or a potato masher.
- Add the salt, onions and turmeric and let it cook for 5 minutes and serve.

- Add a splash of broth of your choice to the tofu scramble to incorporate the ingredients better.
- Use black salt to give the tofu an eggy taste
- To give a creamier texture, add2 to 3 tablespoons of non dairy milk to the tofu.
