I recently tried this mango crepe recipe and it was for sure a great day for me.

The mango crepes were so soft, sweet and delicious…just exactly what my taste buds like.

Mango crepes are quick and easy to make and you will most certainly not regret trying this amazing recipe.

What you will need

All you need for this mango crepe recipe is;

  • 1 Mango, 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • pinch of salt

How to make mango crepe

  • Add the sliced mangoes, water and sugar in a pot and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat.
  • Place in a bowl all the dry ingridients.
  • Incorporate the wet ingredients and Whisk them together until batter is the right consistency.
  • Take a pan and place it on a burner over medium heat.
  • Add in about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan. Tilt and rotate your pan until you form a thin crepe. Let it cook for about 2 minutes and then flip and let the other side cook for another 1 minute or so.
  • Take each individual crepe and add a portion of the mango compote in the middle and roll it up.
  • Serve the mango crepe with your favorite toppings and enjoy while warm.

Instructions

  1. Add the sliced mangoes, water and sugar in a pot and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat.

  2. Take a large mixing bowl and mix in all the dry ingredients together.

    Add in the wet ingredients and Whisk together until batter is runny and not too thick.

  3. Place a non stick pan over medium heat and pour in about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan. Tilt and rotate your pan until you form a thin crepe. Let it cook for about 2 minutes and then flip and let the other side cook for another 1 minute or so.

  4. Take each individual crepe and add a portion of the mango compote in the middle and roll it up.

  5. Serve the mango crepe with your favorite toppings and enjoy while warm.
