I had never tried matcha crepes until recently when I tried this recipe.
Matcha crepes are a light, soft and delicious start to any day when taken for breakfast. It can also be enjoyed as a dessert and this is a must try recipe.

Ingredients you will need
All you need for this matcha crepe recipe is;
- 2 eggs
- 1.5 tbsp matcha powder
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup of all purpose flour
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tbsp melted unsalted butter
- pinch of salt

You can customize this matcha crepe recipe in whatever way you please.
Some few examples include
- Add blueberry or strawberry as topping
- Drizzle melted chocolate on top before serving.
WHAT TO DO WITH THE LEFTOVERS
Matcha crepes are best when served fresh and warm. However, I would suggest storing the crepes in an airtight container in the fridge for only one day.
But remember that they are better enjoyed when fresh so you can alternatively store the batter in the fridge the night before.
How to make matcha crepes
- Sift the matcha powder.
- Take a large mixing bowl and mix in all the dry ingredients together.
- Add in the wet ingredients. and Whisk together until batter is runny and not too thick.
- Place a non stick pan over medium heat and pour in about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan. Tilt and rotate your pan until you form a thin crepe. Let it cook for about 2 minutes and then flip and let the other side cook for another 1 minute or so.
- Serve the matcha crepes with your favourite toppings and enjoy while warm.
