Ingredients
- Pineapples – pureed and strained.
- Pineapple
- Sugar – depending on the sweetness of the pineapples used.
- Lemon juice
- Water
Pineapple Squash
- 1 cup of Pineapples pureed and strained
- 1/4 cup of diced pineapples
- ½ cup of Sugar
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup of water
How to puree the pineapples
Cut your pineapple into big chunks and add in the blender with a little bit of water and blend until smooth. Strain this puree using a sieve and discard the pineapple pulp.
How to make :
1. Add your diced pineapples, sugar, water and pineapple puree in a sauce pan and bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and let this mixture simmer until a thick consistency forms.
2. Remove from the heat and let this mixture cool for 20 minutes.
3. Store in a glass jar and add the lime juice then put in the fridge.
9. Serve cold with ice cubes.
