Cheeseburger Sliders are small hamburgers that are made with bread buns and a filling of cheese, minced beef and veggies of your choice. They have sautéed onions and are a perfect meal for picky eaters or as a quick meal.

Ingredients For Making Cheeseburger Sliders

  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 whole garlic crushed
  • 1 tbs. Cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. paprika powder
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper cut into small cubes
  • 1 medium green bell pepper cut into small cubes
  • 1 medium red bell pepper cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 medium lettuce shredded
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tbs. ketchup
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp. mustard powder
  • 6 bread buns
  • 300 g grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 sheets mozzarella cheese

How To Make Cheeseburger Sliders

  1. Assemble all the ingredients and get them ready on your working table.
  2. Put a sauce pan on medium heat, add cooking oil and add the onions and cook them until they are soft, add the garlic and cook until charred in spots.
  3. Add the salt, paprika powder, white pepper powder, turmeric and mustard powder, stir well and cook for 1 minutes.
  4. Add the minced beef and stir well to combine with the spices, add 1/2 a cup of water, cover and cook on low heat until the beef is cooked through.
  5. Add the bell peppers, brown sugar, oyster sauce and ketchup, stir well to mix and cover and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Turn on the oven to 350 degrees, meanwhile cut the bread buns into half and apply butter on the the bottom of each bun.
  7. Take an oven proof baking pan, arrange the bottom parts of the buns on the baking pan, spread the shredded lettuce on top of the buns.
  8. Arrange the tomatoes on top of the lettuce, followed by the beef mixture, then the shredded cheddar cheese and then the mozzarella cheese slices.
  9. Cover the top with the top side of the bread buns, apply melted butter allover the top of the buns and put into the pre-heated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and serve while still hot with a side dish of your choice. French fries, salad of your choice or roasted veggies.
