Green And Fruity Tofu Salad

This is my first of the 3 Hawaii Tofu Salad Recipes that you can easily prepare at home.

Ingredients for Making Green And fruity Tofu Salad

2 blocks of firm tofu pressed and drained using a paper towel

1/2 fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into cubes

2 red bell peppers, cubed

5 cherry tomatoes, cut into halves

2 cm fresh ginger peeled and grated

2 avocados, stone removed and diced

2 pears, peeled and cut into cubes

Small handful cilantro chopped

For The Dressing

2 tbsp. sesame seeds

1 tbsp. soy sauce

2 tbsp. white wine vinegar

2 tbsp. organic honey

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder to taste

How To Prepare Green And Fruity Tofu Salad

  1. Cut the tofu into bite sized cubes. Put a frying pan on the heat and add some oil and put the tofu, fry them until they are golden and crisp.
  2. In a mixing jar, add the dressing ingredients and whisk until combined.
  3. Take a bowl and combine the tofu, pineapple, peppers, ginger, tomatoes, avocado, pears and cilantro.
  4. Pour the dressing on top of the salad and toss to combine all the ingredients together. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the salad.

Hawaii Tofu Salad With Mangoes

Ingredients For Making Hawaii Tofu Salad With Mangoes

2 blocks of tofu, drained and pressed using a paper towel

2 almost ripe mangoes, stoned, peeled and diced

2 cucumbers, cubed

2 carrots, peeled and grated

2 red apples, peeled and cut into cubes cubed

Small handful of fresh basil chopped

For The Dressing

2 tbsp. olive oil

2 tbsp. lemon juice

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder to taste

How To Prepare Hawaii Tofu Salad With Mangoes

  1. Cut the tofu into cubes, put a frying pan on medium heat and add some cooking oil, fry the tofu turning occasionally until they are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Put the dressing ingredients in a mixing jar and whisk until well combined.
  3. Combine the tofu, mango cubes, cucumbers, apple cubes, carrots and basil.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine well. Serve immediately or chill for 20 minutes before serving.

Hawaiian Avocado Tofu Salad

Ingredients For Making Hawaiian Avocado Tofu Salad

2 blocks of tofu, drained and pressed using a paper towel

1 romaine lettuce, roughly chopped

5 cherry tomatoes, cut into halves

2 avocados, stoned and cut into cubes

200 g radishes, sliced

2 red onions, thinly sliced

For The Dressing

200 ml coconut milk

2 tbsp. organic honey

1 lemon, juice extracted

1 tbsp. olive oil

2 garlic cloves, crushed

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder to taste

How To Prepare Hawaiian Avocado Tofu Salad

  1. Cut the tofu into cubes. Take a baking tray and brush with some cooking oil, place the tofu on the baking tray and bake until golden and crispy.
  2. Take a large bowl, combine the tofu, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, radishes and onions.
  3. In a whisking jar, put the dressing ingredients and whisk until well combined.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat everything well.
