1/2 kg chicken breast
1 cup natural yoghurt
1 tbsp. ginger and garlic paste
1 tsp. red chilli powder
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. garam masala
Salt to taste
1 tsp. lemon juice

1 cup chickpea flour
2 tbsp. rice flour
1 tsp. cumin seeds
1 tsp. coriander powder
Water
Salt to taste
Cooking oil for frying
How To Prepare Chicken Pakora
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite sized pieces, then put in a bowl, add yogurt, ginger and garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, salt and lemon juice.
- Mix well and marinate for one hour. In a different bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, coriander powder, baking powder and salt.
- Add water and mix together until it forms a thick batter.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces to the batter and coat well.
- Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan on medium heat, wait until it gets hot.
- Drop the chicken battered chicken pieces carefully and fry in butches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry until they are golden brown and cooked through, this will take about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
