Ingredients For Making Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

  • 2 cups all-purpose wheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tbs. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

For The Cream Cheese

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 1/2 cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla essence
  • 3 tbsp. milk

How To Prepare Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

  1. Mix the melted butter and brown sugar and cinnamon powder until it becomes a thick paste, put in a piping bag and cut a small hole.
  2. Put aside to thicken abit for good swirls.
  3. Take a mixing bowl, beat in the eggs, add the milk, vanilla essence and the melted butter and whisk until well combined.
  4. Add the dry ingredients, that is the wheat flour, salt and baking powder and mix together until no lumps are left.
  5. Put a non-stick pan on medium heat, pour 1/4 cup batter, swirl the pan to spread the batter to fill the pan, let it cook until bubbles form at the top.
  6. Pipe a spiral of cinnamon mixture on top like a cinnamon roll, when the edges set, flip gently, cook for another 50 to 60 seconds.
  7. Take a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and butter, mix together until smooth, add the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract, mix well until it is pourable.
  8. Stack the pancakes together, drizzle with cream cheese glaze. Enjoy your pancakes with banana slices, pineapple chunks or mango slice or as you wish. They can be taken for breakfast with coffee, hot tea or ginger tea.
