Ingredients For Making Cinnamon Rolls

340 gm all purpose wheat flour

50 gm sugar

10 gm instant yeast

2 eggs

1/4 tsp. Salt

130 ml tepid milk

50 gm butter for kneading

15 gm butter for spreading

2 tsp. cinnamon powder

20 gm raisins

How To Prepare Cinnamon Rolls

  1. In a mixing bowl, sieve the wheat flour, then add the yeast, sugar and salt then mix well.
  2. Whisk the eggs and make a hole at the center of the dough, add the egg mixture and some of the milk and combine using a spatula.
  3. Add the rest of the milk, mixing to form a dough and continue mixing with your hand.
  4. Place the dough on a clean surface and continue kneading, then add some butter, continue kneading until the dough is soft. The whole kneading will take about 15 minutes.
  5. Put the dough on a bowl, cover and let it rest for one hour.
  6. Roll the dough into a square shape on a flour dusted surface, spread the melted butter evenly allover the dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon powder allover the dough.
  7. Spread the raisins over the dough evenly, then fold the dough into a log shape.
  8. Using a dental floss string, cut the rolled dough into equal round shapes, put on a baking tray, cover and let rest for 20 minute.
  9. Brush the rolls with egg wash evenly, bake the rolls in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for for 20 minutes.
  10. Set the rolls aside to cool and serve as you wish.
