- 1 1/2 tsp. instant yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/4 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. chilli flakes
- 11/4 cup warm water
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 1/2 cup pineapple cut into cubes
- 1 cup bacon sliced
- 1 green pepper cubed
How To Prepare Classic Hawaiian Pizza
- Take a mixing bowl, add the flour, yeast, sugar and salt, add olive oil and the warm water, start mixing and knead for about 10 minutes or until the dough is smooth. Cover and set aside for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Take the dough and roll it into a round shape and place it on a round baking tray of about 13 inches in diameter, make perforations on the dough using a folk.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly all over the dough, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, then scatter the ham, pineapple cubes and chilli flakes all over the dough but sparingly to avoid too much pineapple juices on the dough that will make it soggy.
