I am using chickpea pasta that will make you full for longer, it contains healthy plant proteins, while the chicken and tuna contain animal proteins that will make you reduce your cravings.

This salad contains a lot of veggies that are very healthy as they contain vitamins. I will cook the chicken without adding water to reduce the fat intakes and use little oil on the salad dressing.

Ingredients For Making Healthy Pasta Salad For Weight Loss

  • 2 chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • smoked paprika powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper powder
  • 250 g tuna fish
  • 250 g chickpea pasta
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber, cut into half
  • 1 onion (red) thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, cubed
  • 1 small bunch romaine spinach, shredded

For The Dressing

  • 1 lemon juice extracted
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. organic honey

How To Prepare Healthy Pasta Salad For Weight Loss

  1. Put the chicken cubes on a bowl, add the salt, paprika powder, garlic powder and black pepper powder, rub the chicken pieces with the spice mix until well coated.
  2. Put a sauce pan on medium heat, add some salt to taste, add the tuna and boil it for 10 minutes, you can steam the fish if you have a steamer.
  3. Put a skillet on medium heat, grill the chicken cubes, adding abit of water, turning the chicken pieces regularly, cook until well cooked and no longer pink, but golden in color.
  4. Boil the pasta until al dente, rinse under cold water and put aside, put the tomatoes, cucumber, onions, pepper and romaine spinach in a bowl.
  5. Add the cooked chicken cubes and tuna into the bowl with the vegetables.
  6. Put the dressing ingredients in a bowl, whisk them together and pour it over the salad and toss to mix everything together. Chill the salad for about one hour for the flavors to integrate together.
