350 g lean chicken minced

3 spring onions, chopped

2 clove garlic, crushed

3 tbsp. honey

2 tbsp. soy sauce

1 tbsp. Teriyaki sauce

18 spring roll wrappers

1 tbsp. corn flour

1 tbsp. water

How To Prepare Honey Chicken Spring Rolls

  1. Blend the corn flour with 1 tablespoon of water and set aside.
  2. To make the filling, place the chicken, spring onions, garlic, honey, soy sauce and teriyaki sauce in a bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Brush edges of the wrapper with corn flour paste and place 2 table spoons of the filling along one edge, fold in sides and roll up.
  4. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  5. Heat the oil in a sauce pan until a cube of bread dropped in browns in 50 seconds. Cook the spring rolls in batches, for 3-5 minutes or until golden and filling is cooked. Drain on an absorbent kitchen paper and serve immediately.
