Ingredients For Making Mixed Cucumber Salad
- 2 cucumbers thoroughly washed
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 1 small bunch of salanova lettuce
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts
- 1/2 cup boiled sweet corn
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper powder
- 1/ tsp. dry crushed thyme
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tbsp. orange juice
How To Prepare Mixed Cucumber Salad
- Wash the lettuce thoroughly, you can use some white vinegar mixed with water on 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water, and soak for 10 minutes to remove the harmful organisms. Then rinse in clean water.
- Shred the lettuce and put in a bowl.
- Peel the washed cucumber, and cut lengthwise and then into cubes, put then into a bowl.
- Cut the sherry tomatoes into halves.
- Cut the onion into thin slices and plunge into hot water to remove the excess pungent taste or if you don’t mind the pungent taste you can skip this step.
- In a small mixing bowl, add the yellow mustard and mayonnaise and mix well.
- Add the tomatoes, lettuce, onions, cashew nuts, cucumber, corn and orange juice, add the mayonnaise mixture and combine well.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at list 30 minutes before serving.
