Ingredients For Making Pasta With Chicken Sausage And Broccoli

• 200 g pasta (penne or fusilli)
• 5 chicken sausages, cut into cubes
• 1 1/2 cup broccoli florets
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 4 garlic cloves minced
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 tbsp. cooking oil
• 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
• 1 tsp. Salt
• 1/4 tsp. black pepper powder
• 1 small lemon (juice extracted)

How To Prepare Pasta With Chicken Sausage And Broccoli

1. Put a sauce pan on medium heat, add 5 cups of water and bring to boil, add some salt and add the pasta, boil until almost cooked. Drain the water, reserve 1 cup of the water and put the pasta aside.
2. In another sauce pan, boil some water and add the broccoli and boil for 3 minutes, remove from heat and drain the water.
3. Put a frying pan on medium heat, add the cooking oil and let it heat up, add the cubed sausages and cook until browned and cooked through, for about 5 minutes.
4. Add the the minced garlic, cream, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper, cook for one minute. Add the pasta and broccoli and add quarter cup of the reserved pasta water, toss to combine. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and the lemon juice. Serve with a salad of your choice like Caesar salad or simple green Salad.
