Ingredients For Making Penne Ground Beef Pasta
- 250 g ground beef
- 200 g penne pasta
- 1 large onion washed and cut into cubes
- 5 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 200 ml heavy cream
- Beef broth
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 small bunch spring onions cut into small cubes (for garnishing)
- 1 tbsp. ghee
How To Prepare Penne Ground Beef Pasta
- Boil 500 millimeters of water in a sauce pan, add the pasta and boil until al dente, then drain and put aside.
- In a frying pan, add 1 tablespoon of ghee and let it heat up, add the chopped onion and cook until soft, then add the garlic and sauté for one minute.
- Add the paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano salt, cumin and bay leaf. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes to release the aroma.
- Add the ground beef and break it up with a spatula then mix it up with the spices, add 1/2 cup of beef stock, cover and let simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste and crushed tomatoes, mix well and cover to cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese, combine everything together, then add the pasta and mix well. Add the spring onions to garnish.
- Serve while still hot.
