- 3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
- 4 spiced chicken sausages cut into cubes (you can use sausages of your choice)
- 1/2 red bell pepper, washed, pith removed and cut into cubes
- 1/2 yellow large bell bell pepper, washed, pith removed and cut into cubes
- 1/2 green large bell pepper, washed, pith removed and cut into cubes
- 1 large red onion, washed, peeled and cut into medium cubes
- 1 tbsp. ghee
- Salt
- 4 garlic cloves, peels removed and crushed
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp. coriander powder
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- 1 tsp. paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper powder
How To Prepare Sausage And Potato Skillet
- In a sauce pan, boil one liter of water, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and then add the potatoes. Boil on medium heat until tender, this can take about 12 minutes, drain and put aside.
- Take a non stick pan and put on medium heat, add the ghee and heat it, add the sausages and cook them turning them constantly until well cooked on all sides. Remove them from heat and put in a bowl.
- Add a small amount of ghee to the same pan, add the onions and let them soften up, add the bell peppers, add salt, paprika, crushed garlic, white pepper powder, cinnamon cayenne pepper, coriander powder and cumin powder.
- Mix all the ingredients together until everything is well combined. Cook for 3 minutes, the add the potatoes and mix well.
- Add 1/2 cup of water or chicken broth, then add the sausages, add some parsley, mix well, cover and cook on low heat for 2 minutes and serve while still hot.
