Ingredients For Making Sloppy Joes
- 500 g ground beef
- 6 Buns
- 200 g tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 3 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cayenne powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 1 tbsp. crushed garlic
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil
How To Prepare Sloppy Joes
- Put a sauce pan on medium heat, add the oil and then add the onion and sauté it for 2 minutes, add the crushed garlic, green bell pepper, mix well, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the ground beef , mix together and cook for 10 minutes or until its no longer pink.
- Add the tomato sauce, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, brown sugar, chilli powder, garlic powder and crushed garlic, stir well and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
- Take the buns and cut in halves, put spoonful of the meat mixture on the lower half of the bun and cover with the other half of the bun.
- Repeat the process for the rest of the buns. You can serve with a sauce of your choice, with some fries on the side or some salad.
