Spicy Chicken Pizza is versatile and easy to make and is a great option for those who like spicy pizza. This particular pizza is packed with healthy vegetables that make it a well balanced meal.

What makes this pizza even more interesting is that i made it with whole meal wheat flour which will add fiber, vitamins and important minerals to the diet.. It has olives that are very rich in dietary fiber, vitamins and iron and copper.

Ingredients For Making Chicken Pizza

For The Dough

  • 250 g cups Whole meal wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Instant yeast
  • 60 ml lukewarm water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

For The Pizza Topping

  • 250 g chicken thighs cubed
  • 1 tbsp. cooking oil
  • salt to taste
  • Green bell pepper chopped into small cubes
  • Yellow bell peppers chopped into small cubes
  • Red bell peppers chopped into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup black olive cut into half
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. dry oregano
  • 1 tbsp. dry thyme
  • 100 g Mozzarella cheese grated

For The Pizza Sauce

  • 3 large tomatoes
  • salt
  • 1 tsp. dry oregano
  • 1 tsp. dry thyme
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Store bought ranch sauce

How to make Chicken Pizza

  1. In a bowl, add wheat flour, sugar, salt and yeast, combine well and then add the water bit by bit and start mixing the dough with your hand.
  2. Continue making the dough until you form a smooth consistency that no longer sticks to your hand. This will take about 10 minutes or more depending on the size of dough.
  3. When well kneaded, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put aside in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
  4. In a sauce pan, add cooking oil and let it heat up, add the crushed garlic and cook slightly, add the blended tomatoes, salt spices, sugar and tomato paste. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. In a different pan, add some cooking oil, add the chicken pieces, add the salt, paprika, black pepper, oregano and thyme, mix and cover and cook on low heat until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. After one hour, take the dough and roll to the size of the pizza pan and fit it well. Using a folk, poke the dough all over to allow breathing of the dough as it bakes.
  7. Spread the pizza sauce followed by the ranch sauce all over the dough.
  8. Put the chicken pieces all over the dough, followed by the bell peppers, olives and then top up with the grated cheese.
  9. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes on 350 degrees or until the top of the pizza is well cooked.
