    Ingredients

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or self-rising flour)
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
    • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
    • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, everything bagel seasoning, or poppy seeds

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. Mix the dough: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add Greek yogurt and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
    3. Knead: Lightly flour your surface and knead the dough for 2–3 minutes until smooth and not sticky.
    4. Shape the bagels: Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each into a rope about 6 inches long and connect the ends to form a ring.
    5. Add topping: Brush each bagel with beaten egg and sprinkle your favorite topping.
    6. Bake: Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden brown.
    7. Cool: Let the bagels cool slightly before slicing and serving.

    Tips

    • For a tangier flavor, use full-fat Greek yogurt.
    • You can air fry them at 320°F (160°C) for about 10–12 minutes for a quicker version.
    • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for later.
