Ingredients For Making Beef Vegetable Stew
- 500 g Beef cut into cubes
- 1 Green bell pepper cut into strips
- 1 red Bell pepper cut into strips
- 2 medium carrots cut into strips
- 1 Yellow bell pepper cut into strips
- 1 Small bunch spring onions
- 1 large onion cut into big cubes
- 1 Small bunch Cilantro
- 1 bay leaf1 tbsp.
- 1 tbsp. Paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp. Cumin powder
- 1 tbsp. beef masala
- 1 tsp. Dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. cooking oil
- 5 garlic cloves crushed
- Salt to taste
How To Prepare Beef Vegetable Stew
- Put the beef cubes in a bowl, add some salt, paprika powder, tandoori masala, soy sauce, mix well, cover and marinate for 1 hour.
- Put the beef in a pressure cooker, add 1/2 cup of water, bay leaf and some beef masala, cook until 2 whistles then turn off the heat and let it cool.
- In a different heated sauce pan, add 1 tbsp. of cooking oil, add the onions and sauté them for about 3 minutes and the add the garlic.
- Cook for 2 minutes ensuring not to burn the garlic. Add the carrots and stir consistently, add the Worcestershire sauce and continue stirring for 3 minutes.
- Add the bell peppers and stirring to combine well and cook uncovered for 3 minutes.
- Add the spring onions and cilantro stir and cook for 2 minutes, the remove from heat.
- Serve while still hot with an accompaniment of your choice like rice, pasta or flat bread.
