Chicken Jalfrezi is a tomato based curry made with boneless chicken pieces. Its a meal packed with potassium, manganese, copper and magnesium. Chicken Jalfrezi means "spicy chicken stir-fry". Ingredients For Making Chicken Jalfrezi

4 skinless chicken breasts chopped into bite-size pieces

3 tbsp. olive oil

300 ml water

2 large onions peeled and chopped

2 garlic cloves chopped

2 tsp. ginger peeled and grated

2 green chillies seeds removed and chopped

4 tsp. curry powder

2 tsp. tomato puree

salt

How To Prepare

1. Heat oil in a sauce pan, add the onions, garlic and chilli and fry until tender.

2. Stir in the curry powder or paste and the tomato puree. Stir for 50 seconds and then add the chicken pieces.

3. Brown the meat quickly on a high heat for 3-4 minutes, then add the water and cook for another 10 minutes. Stir, add the ginger and green pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Serve it with rice or chapati or as desired.
