Ingredients For Making Sausage Rolls

  • 10 Sausages
  • 250 gm/2 cups wheat flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 60 ml cold water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg

How To Make Sausage Rolls

  1. Sift the wheat flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
  2. Add the water bit by bit and mix to a dough. Cover the bowl and chill for about 15 minutes for best results.
  3. Boil the sausages according to packet instructions and let them cool down.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle and lay the sausages on a line and roll the dough to wrap the sausages and cut into the shape of the sausages, seal the edges.
  5. Beat the egg in a small bowl. Put the sausage rolls on a baking tray and brush with the egg wash.
  6. Bake the sausage rolls in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes on 300 degrees.
  7. Serve immediately with an accompaniment of your choice.
