Ingredients

1 Small bunch spring onion sliced

½ cabbage, shredded       

1 red capsicum, cut into thin strips

4 cloves garlic

2 red chillies

 2 tsp. lemon juice

Salt to taste

1 tsp. vegetable oil

Put 4 cups water to the boil.

How to prepare Spicy Soup Recipe

  • Soak the red chillies in half of the hot water for about 10 minutes. Pound them with the garlic into a smooth past. Put aside.
  • Heat the oil in a sauce pan, add the chillies and garlic paste and stir for some time.
  • Add the spring onions, cabbage and red capsicum and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the remaining 3 cups of hot water, the lemon juice, sugar and salt and bring to boil. Serve hot
