Watermelon and Celery Juice

I started making Watermelon Celery Juice during one really hot afternoon when plain water just was not cutting it anymore. I already had cut watermelon in the fridge and some celery that needed to be used, so I blended them together mostly hoping for something refreshing. It actually turned out way better than I expected.

The watermelon makes the juice naturally sweet and super refreshing while the celery adds freshness without overpowering everything. It tastes light, cold, and honestly perfect straight from the fridge on warm days. If you already enjoy recipes like Strawberry Lemonade, Apple Blueberry Juice, or Papaya and Carrot juice, this watermelon celery juice fits perfectly into that homemade drink rotation.

Why You Will Love This Watermelon Celery Juice

What I love most about this juice is how refreshing it tastes without feeling heavy or overly sweet.

The watermelon gives loads of natural sweetness while the celery keeps the flavor fresh and balanced.

Another thing I like is how hydrating it feels, especially during really warm weather when heavier drinks sound terrible.

It’s also really simple to make with only a few ingredients and takes just minutes from start to finish.

What You Will Need For Watermelon Celery Juice

A blender works best for getting the watermelon and celery completely smooth. A basic blender works perfectly fine here.

You’ll also need a sharp knife for cutting the watermelon into chunks and chopping the celery into smaller pieces.

A fine mesh strainer helps if you prefer smoother juice with less pulp.

If you like extra cold drinks, chilled glasses and plenty of ice cubes make a huge difference honestly.

Ingredients Needed

  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup cold water
  • Ice cubes for serving

How To Make The Juice

Add the watermelon, celery, lemon juice, and cold water into a blender.

Blend until completely smooth.

Strain through a fine mesh strainer if you want smoother juice.

Pour over ice and serve immediately.

I usually chill the watermelon beforehand so the juice comes out extra cold without needing too much ice. This juice also goes really well with Red Velvet Cake, Homemade Biscoff Cake Slice Recipe, or even if you’re putting together breakfast or brunch.

Tips For Watermelon Celery Juice

Very cold watermelon gives the best refreshing flavor here.

If the juice feels too thick, add a little extra cold water until you like the consistency better.

Fresh lemon juice helps brighten the flavor and balances the sweetness nicely.

Try using seedless watermelon if possible because it makes blending much easier.
